The Navasota Mudcats swim team posted its second win, making it two weeks in a row they have brought home a title. In the team standings, the Mudcats scored 299 points and the Giddings L-Cats finished with 200 points on June 7. In the June 14 meet in Navasota, it was the Mudcats 283, Bryan.
An Inland water agency said it could serve nine major industrial and residential projects in the southwest Riverside County area, the first assessments it has approved since determining that conservation measures and other resources would provide enough water for the long-term future.
