FERNANDO AIR BASE, Lipa City – Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro announced here that the Philippine Air Force (PAF) has acquired 15 new training planes.
Filipino military pilots will now have the opportunity to train in new and modern basic training aircraft after the Department of National Defense (DND) recently approved and issued a Notice to Proceed to Alenia Aermacchi S.p.A. for the supply of 18 new SF260 F jets for the Armed Forces-Philippine Air Force (PAF) pilot training programs.
