Watching "The Other Boleyn Girl," I was reminded of a family story that my father used to tell. As a small boy, he came upon one of his older sisters sitting alone in a room, repeating the same paralyzing phrase over and over.
The Other Boleyn Girl too often comes off as an unintentionally campy, highbrow soap opera albeit one with elaborate production design and richly textured costumes.
