Hope Star Sports The Ladycats once again split wins in a double header against the Magnolia Lady Panthers to finish out summer softball play Thursday night at Ladycat Yard. The Ladycats came up short in the first game losing 4-3, but shutout the Lady Panthers in the second game winning 7-0. Hope finished out the summer softball play 9-3.

Belvitch Mary Lou Belvitch, 72, of Beloit, passed away Wednesday in Windsor, Ohio at the home of her daughter. A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. July 11 at Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
